Educational Qualification : Masters in Social Science or equivalent.
Qualification : Excellent report writing capacity in English, Computer and communication skills.
Salary/Pay : BDT 20,000/-. Two Festival bonus equivalent basic
Travel allowance : Actual

Additional Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 year of working experience in Child protection issues.
- Must have good management, monitoring & evaluation skills, report writing skills and expertise in financial management.
- Must be very familiar with National laws and policies related to children in contact/conflict with the law, UNCRC, and international instruments.
- Must have excellent computer skills. Ability to conduct training will be an added advantage.
Job responsibilities:
Major Role & Responsibilities
- The ZM is responsible to ensure staff capacity building initiatives are taken place in time and obviously prior to execute any activity.
- The ZM is responsible for the implementation of the project activities, monitoring and guiding the team members.
Ensure that project targets are achieved as per planned schedule and design specification.
- Having capacity and experience to work with police stations, lawyers, local government, community people etc.
S/he will look after the day to day activities of all level of project staff and monitor individual performance, and provide guidance to improve their performance as and when necessary.
- Ensure that baseline information captured and documented as per developed tools and guideline provided by the Monitoring expert.
- Conduct regular field visit to monitor physical progress and accountability & compliance issues are addressed in line with the work plan.
- Ensure implementation of project activities in their respective areas including setup of Child Welfare Desk (CWD) in the police stations and Child Welfare Committee (CWC) in local communities through youth participation, community education/mobilisation, advocacy programmes, and awareness campaigns.
- The person will work with lawyers to ensure legal aid for children who come into contact/conflict with the law or children who remain unrepresented.
- The person is responsible to supervise day-to-day management of the area activities ensuring its effective performance within agreed policies i.e. project goal, objectives, budget, Personnel Manual, Child Protection Policy and ‘Code of Conduct for Children’ of the Organisation.
- Ensure the preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual reports of the program and any occasional/periodic reports as/if asked by the funding authority and JJS.
