Additional Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 year of working experience in Child protection issues.
• Must be very familiar with National laws and policies related to children, UNCRC, and international instruments.
• Ability to conduct training for children will be an added advantage.

Job responsibilities:
Major Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible for working with police stations alongside child friendly female police officers to deal separately with children who are bought to police stations.
• They will counsel the children, record information, refer children to safe homes, directly handover children to their families.
• Support the shelter children who are referred from Police Stations for rehabilitation, reintegrate the children to the family through identification of families, mobilize the local community for the wellbeing of the CCL children.
• Mobilize and network with child welfare committees, CBOs and the wider community.
  Coordination, communication and networking building with the stakeholders in ward level.
• The jobholder must have a proven interest to work with disadvantaged children who come into the conflict/contact with the law.
• Prepare and provide activity plans and regular reporting on project implementation progress.
  Technical guidance in leadership and management of the project implementation.
• Develop a purposeful relationship with the local elites, house owners, immediate communities of children, businesspersons, other NGOs & local government offices, police stations for ensuring best support to the beneficiaries and programme.
• Contribute in implementing the project activities in the respective areas that includes establishment and activation of Child Welfare Desk (CWD) at the Police Stations and Child Welfare Committee (CWC).
• To follow the Child Protection Policy, ‘Code of Conduct for Children’ and other related organizational policies to protect and develop the children.

To ensure medical services to sick children through NGOs or health institutes. Reunify children with their families.
