Shishu Kendra
Background
JJS has long been giving assistance to intellectually disable children of Rupsa Upazila under Khulna district of Bangladesh though a school called Shishu Kendra. Since opening of Shishu Kendra it is supporting the intellectually disable children in the areas of education, skill development, games & sports. Now shishu kendra is implementing a project, continuing its activities, and providing support to the children.
Objectives
- To support the Children with Autism and ADHD for their overall development, establish their Rights in the society and assist in self-sufficiency.
- Create positive attitude, including mainstream, education and create position in the society for the autistic children.
- Create awareness among civil society and motivate for participation for the children.
- To ensure the development support to the children with autism, ADHD and intellectually disabled.
