Human Chain to Protest Killing of Child Rakib

On 05 August, 2015, Khulna Children Forum, Child Protection Committee, Khiulna, Rupsha Secondary School Khulna and Jagrata Juba Shangha (JJS) organised a HUMAN CHAIN in front of Rupsha Secondary School to protest against the brutal killing of Child Rakib. President of Children’s Forum Md. Ashik Elahi, Coordinator  of JJS MM Chisty, Secretary of Meherunnesa Liza were present during the human chain and gave speeches to increase awareness against the increasing number of abuses and killing of innocent children. Around 200 students of various ages participated in the human chain to express their anger to the emotionless murderers and share their empathy to the family of Rakib. Local leaders and stakeholders, guardians, teachers and other citizens were also present to share their silent protest against physical assaults, abuses and killing of children. Different media representatives covered the news of human chain and they also expressed their feelings for the responsibility to act against child assault.
