Global Climate Strike Khulna, Bangladesh September 20-27, 2019

The Global Climate Strike kicked off in Khulna, Bangladesh- Jagarata Juba Shangha( JJS )In order to participate in the global Climate  strike, different organizations of Bangladesh like other countries have organized various activities.

Jagrata Juba Shangha (JJS), Khulna organized campaign with the adolescent club members to participate in the strike. Adolescents of Friendship Club of ward no. 16, Khulna City Corporation were the participants for day 1 program. Facilitator of this campaign discussed about Global Warming and the main goal of the strike. Members of the club took part in the discussion. They have raised their voice as the sign of the protest and gave slogan “Save our Planet, Save our Future”. The campaign has ended by planting trees by the youths.
