Farmers from JJS Koyra area participated in a high level dialogue with Prime Minister’s Office on agriculture of south west coastal region at Khulna Divisional Commissioner’s office

On 05 August, a video conference with the Prime Minister’s Office was organized by the Office of Khulna Divisional Commissioner with the objective to share the progress of agriculture sector through use of technologies. Ayub Ali Sheikh and Md. Abdullah, two project beneficiaries, are working in JJS PARIBARTAN project, funded by European Union and Concern Worldwide, Bangladesh and implemented by Jagrata Juba Shangha, for developing model on composite agriculture in climate change affected saline prone areas. They shared their experience on present agricultural situation of Koyra and the reduced usage of chemical fertilisers and increased level of use of compost fertiliser to Mr. Abul Kalam Azad, the Chief Secretary of the Honourable Prime Minister.  They also presented the piloting technology of composite agriculture of PARIBARTAN project in Koyra.
