Practical Learning Session on Capturing and Disseminating Good Agricultural Practices using Videos

On 28^thand 29^th October 2018, JJS organized the 5^thin a series of Video Training Sessions/Practical Learning Sessions on “Capturing and Disseminating Good Agricultural practices use Videos” at Freedom Fighters Club Conference Room, Jalma Union Parishad, Batiaghata Upazila under “Accelerating Horizontal Learning in Bangladesh Polders: ICT as a Force Multiplier project.”The project is supported by Blue Gold andMetaMeta.

The main purpose of this practical learning session is to provide basic ideas on how to capture good quality pictures and videos through smart phones. After this video training session, WMG members can capture those best practices and share it in several social media (Facebook, Youtube).

Chief Guest Biprodash Tikader, UP Member of Jalma Union Parishad thanked JJS for organizing this video training session. ATM Zakir Hossain, Executive Director of JJS inaugurated the training session and shared about the importance of this training session. Md. Matior Rahman, Zonal Coordinator and Md. Shamim Alom, Polder Coordinator from Blue Gold also shared Blue Gold polder areas’ongoing activities and good practices in Khulna, such as beef fattening, livestock rearing (Hajol Technique), Summer Tomato and so on . Probir Kumar Das from Access Agriculture provided training on how to capture good quality videos through smart phones (long shot, medium shot and close shot). After this training session WMG members prepared videos on different issues and also shared their videos within this training session. Abraham Abhishek from MetaMeta, Probir Kumar Das from Access Agriculture and Kazi Faisal Islam from JJS provided feedback about their videos. They also announced the video competition and request them to submit their videos (JJS representative and Chandan Halder, UDC member of Jalma Union) within the deadline. All the participants said they were committed to submit their competition videos within deadline.  Masud Khan from JJS, Provati Roy from Blue Gold also participate in this training session.
