Mission

Governance Structure
General Board of 31 members is the supreme body of the organisation
that elects members for the Executive Committee. JJS is executed by
an Executive Committee (EC) consists of 7 members, which is elected
in every two years interval. The EC approves annual plans and budget
and monitor the activity progress and financial updates according to
the financial manual of JJS. The However the development programmes
of the organisation are supervised by a Core Management team which
is chaired by the Executive Director as the chief executive of the
organisation.

Program
Management
JJS has a Core Management Team comprising the three senior
coordinators headed by the Executive Director, which is authorized
by the EC to manage the whole organization. Besides that a
Management Team comprising all the program heads generally
supervise the regular activities. JJS manage all its activities
according to the constitution, Human Resource Policy, Financial
Manual, Operational Policy, Gender Policy and other ad hoc policies/
rules and regulations.

Monitoring System
JJS has an efficient Planning and Monitoring system and its
programs are monitored by the Monitoring Cell under the direct
supervision of the Technical Coordinator, Planning and Development.
JJS Monitoring Cell produces Monitoring Report at each quarter plus
an annual one upon which the qualitative and quantitative progress
of the programs are assessed. The monitoring process follows the
indicators set in the Log-Frame of its Annual Operation Plan (LTDP).
Besides it has monitoring templates and guideline for doing the
same. These reports are send to the respective program heads,
Management Team, Core Management Team, Executive Committee,
respective Donors, GOB and others. Direction and suggestions are
issued to the respective programs, units for further improvement
of activities from the Planning and Development Unit along with the
Core Management Team.

Financial Management
System
JJS maintains its accounts, bill, voucher, cash book, ledger
according to the guideline of its Financial Manual. Accounts of the
organization are maintained manually with computer (Excel) generated
report. The finance unit of JJS produces monthly financial report of
each project and the quarterly report is submitted before the
Executive Council and Management Team of JJS and also to the
respective donor of the projects. Coordinator, Finance and
Administration, who is an Chartered Accountant basically scrutinize
these financial reports and take necessary actions in case of any
irregularity (if happens). Its accounts are audited by external
reputed Audit Firm. JJS also submit its annual program, financial
and audit reports to the NGO Bureau, respective donors and
government offices in due time. |
